Allow myself to introduce…..myself. (I love Austin Powers.)
I ‘m Mike Walzman, the Founder & CEO of ZMIVE.com . OK, now that the plug is done where to begin. Well I’ll get straight to the point. My reason for having this blog is really to clear my head up, but also to hopefully have a positive impact on someone else’s life.
We all go through phases in our lives and I am about 3 years into the most exciting, unknown, boundless phase of my life yet. Most of my middle school and high school career were all about having fun (A.K.A. drugs, parties, girls, money). I wanted to do only what I wanted, and did that to the best of my ability. I had the most fun and also had the loneliest moments in my life and I don’t regret one bit of it. It has made me who I am today. But there came a point for me where I had to ask myself, “Is this really what I want to be doing with my life?” The answer was no, but it wasn’t that simple to just quit, I’ve been living this way for 7 years. Luckily I had a great support group to help me through the struggles and I was off and running in this new found perception of life. I felt like a little child again, I had my passion back!
The life I live today is insane. If you would of told me 4 years ago that I would be practicing spiritual principles and running a website to help others amplify their life, I would have laughed in your face. I think deep down I always wanted an extraordinary life like this, but I was so lost I had no idea about it.
So now that I am somewhat more aware of life, I am so grateful to share my journey with you.
Much Love,

First and foremost I should thank you for the wisdom you have blessed me with.
AND You’re blog is pretty interesting.
It’s strange though.. us going through obstacles the hard way in order to find…. peace.
I’ll try to continue to read your stories. The Public speaking intrigued me the most. : )
OH! And.. Austin Powers is still pretty awesome. I catch myself saying “OH BEHAVE!!” from time to time : D

You know when you feel weird saying your welcome or thank you in a reply, because you just said it, in the comment above….Well that’s how I feel right now, ha. But your extremely welcome and thanks for the kind words. I’ll be sure to look at yours more often too. (there, that’s a little different).

Hi Mike,
Greetings from London.
Thanks a lot for taking a look around on my blog. Totally agree that too much reason can be harmful. In fact, that quote is designed to promote the virtues of emotion over reason…It’s just phrased in a slightly odd way because the emotion bit comes first…
Anyway, liking ZMIVE.com alot.

Haha. You’re comment made me drool right in front of my computer here at work. I feel only those who can successfully lick their elbows are the ones that have abnormally long tongues or are double jointed in their arms…but keep trying, maybe you’ll discover a trick that I have not!

nick- aweeeee, i see…I mean, I knew that. Thanks for checking ZMIVE out, much love
erica- i think you might want to keep that drool part to yourself, ha. I ‘ll let you know if I do, and you too…don’t go telling people the secret without me knowing : )

Love your blog! You remind me of Noah Levine a bit, have you read his books? Your site is also pretty cool… I’ve got some websites and a magazine on the back burner I’m inspired to get started on thanks to you =) I’ll be poking around here a lot more!

haha, I’m beginning to accept those compliments now…yes I have read one of his books. I did an interview with him, it’s on my website ZMIVE.com under latest news. I go to one of his meditation groups, he’s a real cool guy. If you live in LA I would highly suggest it.

We never fail to surprise ourselves! That’s what life is all about I guess or it would be just a bunch of random events thrown together (mistakenly called life)!
Best of luck!

Rolling you.

Hello, Mike. I saw that you posted a reply on my blog, so I thought I’d check yours out. =) Haha. And I must say that even though you’re older than me (haha) and I don’t know you…This might sound a little strange, but I’m proud of you for coming out of that phase of your life (or at least trying). There’s a lot of my friends that are in that spot right now and I can only pray that they’ll wake up and realize that it is not a good way to live life.
So, it looks like I’m off to check out ZMIVE now.
