I was browsing around facebook and saw on my friends page a great quote. To keep me centered I always read a quote or phrase out of a book that inspires me every morning. So this week, this is what I’ve been reading, enjoy!
IF I HAD MY LIFE TO LIVE OVER
I’d dare to make more mistakes next time.
I’d relax, I would limber up.
I would be sillier than I have been this trip.
I would take fewer things seriously.
I would take more chances.
I would climb more mountains and swim more rivers.
I would eat more ice cream and less beans.
I would perhaps have more actual troubles,
but I’d have fewer imaginary ones.
You see, I’m one of those people who live
sensibly and sanely hour after hour,
day after day.
Oh, I’ve had my moments,
And if I had it to do over again,
I’d have more of them.
In fact, I’d try to have nothing else.
Just moments, one after another,
instead of living so many years ahead of each day.
I’ve been one of those people who never goes anywhere
without a thermometer, a hot water bottle, a raincoat
and a parachute.
If I had to do it again, I would travel lighter than I have.
If I had my life to live over,
I would start barefoot earlier in the spring
and stay that way later in the fall.
I would go to more dances.
I would ride more merry-go-rounds.
I would pick more daisies.
Nadine Stair,
85 years old.
Much Love,
Mike Walzman

Mike, I stumbled across your blog and have really enjoyed reading your posts. You’ve actually got something to say and it is worth reading. I think your blog is probably the best one I’ve read so far. Keep up the good work! A.

What a wonderful post! I say, start today! I just jumped the biggest bridge bungy jump in the world, 216 meters fall from Storms River, South Africa. Made me realize…there is NOTHING that I can not do…

“instead of living so many years ahead of each day.” So true!

Ally – thanks so much, that means a lot to me
inwardsun – your crazy, ha. That’s awesome though, I’m way too afraid of heights. But I do agree there is nothing that can’t be done.
darkeve – i like that phrase too. My favorite is,
” I’d dare to make more mistakes next time.
I’d relax, I would limber up.
I would be sillier than I have been this trip.”
