War Dance – Most touching film, must see it…I feel like a movie critic, ha

My dad had rented this documentary called War Dance from the library. I looked at the cover and summary and it seemed interesting, but really not that excited to see it. After a long day, I put the dvd in and watched it. I’ve never felt so much emotion in those 2 hours. This was probably one of the most moving films I have ever seen. It’s about this tribe in northern Uganda and how they are being killed by rebel forces and children are abducted and forced to be soldiers. A lot of them are forced to kill there own family. This has been going on for over 20 years. The only hope these people have are their music. Uganda has a competition for the kids and it takes you through the course of this particular tribe ad they train for this competition. It made me think how much I take for granted in my life. Of course it’s all relative, but when I see what these people are going through I can’t help to think that I can’t complain about ANYTHING. It also made me think that I am not working hard enough to pursue my dreams, but on the on the other hand, I also got the message that anything is possible, and your dreams do come true, if you have enough love for it. Here’s a link to the website and also a trailer clip of the film
