A friend of mine invited me to go to the Agape international spiritual center tonight, it was fucking awesome. Whenever I get the chance to try something new, I do it. There is only so much to gain from it. For this service there was inspirational music, there was uplifting talks given by one of the best, Dr. Michael Beckwith (the founder of the place) and there were great people. It was like going to church but it wasn’t about christ or moses, or whatever, it was about the oneness and that stuff, it was truly a great experience.
One of the things Michael talked about that stood out to me, was treating everything as an adventure. When I see the day, the moment as an adventure it suddenly becomes fun and exciting and not this great wall of shit I have to deal with, it becomes the mature persons playground. Take your inner child who loved to play and had no judgments or awareness of winning and losing and mix it with this desire you have to evolve to become more aware, have fun with it, have fun with the world.
